Most brands that claim to be botanical use botanical-sounding names on labels while filling their formulas with synthetics and fillers. We do not. Every ingredient in every Crystal Beaute Co. product earns its place — chosen for its history, its potency, and its proven purpose. We formulate with botanicals that most brands cannot source or do not know how to use well — soursop, neem, moringa, marshmallow root, licorice root — ingredients trusted by communities across the Caribbean, West Africa, and South Asia for generations. That knowledge did not become less true because the beauty industry overlooked it.

Our products are handcrafted in small batches without the synthetic preservative systems that extend shelf life at the cost of formula integrity. As a general guide our soaps last 12 months from date of purchase when stored properly. Body butters and body elixirs last 6 to 12 months. Hair elixirs last up to 12 months. Always store products away from direct sunlight and heat and keep bar soaps dry between uses to extend their life. Each product includes a best before guidance on the label.

Yes. Every formula is developed with sensitive skin as the standard — not an afterthought. We do not use harsh synthetics, aggressive preservative systems, or unnecessary irritants. We are also palm oil-free and cruelty-free across the entire range. If you have a specific skin condition or allergy, we always recommend checking the full ingredient list on each product page before purchasing. 

We offer three scent options across our collections because your ritual should be yours to define. Unscented products contain no added fragrance — ideal for those with fragrance sensitivity or who prefer the purest botanical experience. Essential oil scented products use only plant-derived fragrance — nature's own. Fragrance oil scented products use high quality, IFRA-compliant fragrance oils that are paraben-free and phthalate-free — for a richer, more complex scent experience without compromise on safety. All three options are clearly labeled so you always know exactly what you are choosing.

The majority of our products are vegan. Some formulas may include ingredients such as silk amino acids or honey — these are always disclosed in the full ingredient list on each product page. If veganism is important to your purchasing decision check the individual product listing or contact us and we will confirm.

Palm oil is one of the most widely used ingredients in beauty and personal care — and one of the most environmentally destructive. Its production is responsible for deforestation, habitat loss, and displacement of communities and wildlife. There are alternatives. We use them. Every Crystal Beaute Co. product is and will always remain palm oil-free. This is not a positioning decision. It is a values decision.

Because they work. And they have been working for centuries — long before the beauty industry took notice. Soursop has been used across Caribbean and West African households for skin and hair care for generations. Neem has been a staple of Ayurvedic practice for thousands of years. Moringa is one of the most nutrient-dense plants on earth. Licorice root appears in ancient Egyptian, Ayurvedic, and traditional Chinese medicine texts as a skin brightener and calming agent. We did not discover these ingredients. We simply gave them the formulation and the platform they have always deserved.

Licorice root contains a compound called glabridin— one of nature's most effective brightening agents. It works by calming hyperpigmentation and evening skin tone without the aggression of harsh chemical alternatives. It does not bleach. It balances. It has been used across South Asian, Middle Eastern, and Mediterranean traditions for exactly this purpose. Your skin will notice the difference with consistent use.

Marshmallow root produces a natural mucilage — a thick, slip-rich substance that coats, softens, and protects skin and hair with a gentleness no synthetic can quite replicate. It has been used for centuries across North Africa, the Middle East, and Europe for dry skin, hair detangling, and scalp soothing. In our formulas it functions as one of the most effective natural moisturizing and conditioning agents available.

Because our products are handcrafted in small batches some items may require additional preparation time before shipping. Processing time is typically 3 to 5 business days. Shipping times vary by location and selected shipping method. You will receive a tracking number as soon as your order ships.

Yes — every Crystal Beaute Co. order ships with full tracking. We believe the care that goes into making your products should extend to how they reach you. You will not be left wondering where your order is.

Once your order has been processed and shipped you will receive a confirmation email containing your tracking number and a link to follow your delivery in real time.

Tracking information can take up to 48 hours to activate after your shipping confirmation email is sent. If your tracking number shows no movement after48 hours please contact us at order@crystalbeaute.ca with your order number and we will investigate and respond promptly.

Because our products are handcrafted in small batches and are personal care items, we are unable to accept returns on products. If your order arrives damaged or there is an issue with your product, please contact us within48 hours of receipt with your order number and a photograph of the issue.

Yes. Crystal Beaute Co. reserves the right to cancel any order at our discretion — including but not limited to cases involving pricing errors, suspected fraud, items that are out of stock, or orders that cannot be fulfilled to our standard. In the event that your order is cancelled you will be notified promptly and any payment made will be refunded in full. We hold every order to the same standard we hold every formula — and if we cannot fulfil that standard, we will always do right by you.
