In Sanskrit, neem is called sarva roga nivarini — the one that keeps all diseases at bay. It is one of the oldest cultivated trees in human history, present in Ayurvedic texts for over four thousand years and growing across South Asia, West Africa, and the Caribbean long before botanical science gave it a classification. Every part of the neem tree has been used — the bark, the leaf, the seed, the oil. Neem & Moringa uses two of them. Because one was never going to be enough.
This is a bar built for skin that wants to be thoroughly attended to. Neem oil — cold-pressed from the seed, strong in character and exceptional in purpose — brings its full botanical richness into the formula. Neem powder, ground from the dried leaf, deepens the bar's green tone and extends the plant's presence throughout every wash. Together they bring a completeness to this bar that a single neem ingredient could not.
Moringa powder — from the tree called the miracle tree across East Africa, South Asia, and the Caribbean — is one of the most nutrient-dense botanicals known. Ground from the dried leaf, it carries vitamins A, C, and E, amino acids, and antioxidants into the bar in a form the skin can receive with every lather. French green clay draws out surface impurities with a mineral authority that softer clays cannot match, leaving the skin refined and clear. Tussah silk dissolves into the formula and lends its amino acids to the lather — a softness that cuts against the bar's strength and makes it genuinely complete.
Cedarwood and sandalwood essential oils carry the scent — two of the oldest aromatic woods in human history, present in ancient Egypt, the temples of India, and the sacred preparations of cultures across the world. More active and more mineral-dense than kaolin, french green clay draws out impurities and surface buildup with a thoroughness that makes itself felt after the very first wash. Tussah Silk: Derived from wild silk cocoons, tussah silk dissolves into the bar during the soap-making process. Cedarwood & Sandalwood Essential Oils: Cedarwood essential oil — distilled from the Atlas cedar and used in ancient Egypt for preservation, ritual, and skin preparations — is dry, woody, and immediately grounding. Sandalwood essential oil has been burned in temples, pressed into preparations, and worked into skin across India, the Middle East, and East Asia for thousands of years. In Neem & Moringa they are used together as pure essential oils — not fragrance approximations, not diluted blends. The scent is the plant. That is all it has ever needed to be.

How to Use
How to Use
- Wet skin and bar with warm water.
- Lather between hands or directly on skin — the bar will produce a rich, earthy-green foam carrying the full warmth of cedarwood and sandalwood throughout.
- Massage gently into face or body. Let the clay and neem do their work — no rush.
- Rinse thoroughly with warm water.
- Follow with your Crystal Beaute Co. body oil or butter to seal in moisture while skin is still slightly damp.
A note on neem: neem oil has a strong, distinctive natural scent that is present in the bar and in the lather. The cedarwood and sandalwood essential oils are blended to complement and round this character. For best results: Store your bar on a draining soap dish between uses. A dry bar lasts longer — and a long-lasting bar is a worthy one.
