Nourish Mint Botanical Bar Soap

Marshmallow Root: Its name in Arabic — khatmi — appears in texts centuries old, used by healers along the Nile and across the Ottoman empire not for sweets but for wounds, skin inflammation, and parched hair and skin. The root produces a natural mucilage — a thick, slip-rich coating that softens, hydrates, and protects with a gentleness no synthetic can quite replicate. In Nourish Mint it works quietly and thoroughly, ensuring the cleanse is never at the expense of comfort. 

Spirulina: A blue-green algae with one of the most concentrated nutritional profiles in the botanical world — rich in protein, B vitamins, iron, and antioxidants including phycocyanin, which gives spirulina its distinctive color and its anti-inflammatory character. Used as a food and medicine across cultures in Africa, Latin America, and Asia for centuries, it has more recently become recognized in skincare for its ability to defend against oxidative stress and support skin cell renewal. The green you see in this bar is spirulina. It earns its place in both the formula and the color.  

Peppermint Essential Oil: Cold-pressed and used in its pure form, peppermint essential oil has a documented history in skincare, medicine, and ritual across ancient Egypt, China, and the Arab world. Its primary active compound, menthol, produces a genuine cooling effect on the skin by activating cold-sensitive receptors — increasing circulation, refreshing the surface, and leaving a clean brightness that is felt as much as smelled. In a rinse-off bar soap, it delivers this effect consistently and safely with every wash. 

Sweet Almond Oil: Pressed from the kernel of the sweet almond, this oil has been used in Ayurvedic and Persian medicine for centuries — applied to dry skin, used in massage preparations, and trusted for its exceptional skin compatibility. Rich in oleic and linoleic acids, it absorbs readily without heaviness and nourishes the skin barrier from within. Light enough for daily use on any skin type. Generous enough to make itself felt. 

Raw Honey: Honey has been used in wound care, skin treatment, and beauty rituals across ancient Egypt, Greece, and indigenous cultures worldwide for thousands of years. As a humectant, it draws moisture from the air into the skin and holds it there. Its natural enzymes make it gently antibacterial without aggression. In Nourish Mint, it contributes a rich, creamy lather and a softness that remains on the skin long after rinsing. 

Fragrance: Peppermint Essential Oil

Top Note: Bright, icy peppermint — cool and clean and instantly clarifying. The scent arrives before the bar has touched the skin. 

Heart Note: Full menthol depth — the essential oil at its most itself, herbal and cool with a natural sweetness underneath. 

Base Note: Clean, fresh skin — peppermint's dry-down is cool and quiet, leaving a brightness on the skin that is more sensation than scent.

• Wet skin and bar with warm water. 
• Lather between hands or directly on skin — the bar will produce a rich, green-tinted foam with the immediate cool of peppermint throughout. 
• Massage gently into face or body. The marshmallow root will lend a natural slip to the lather — let it work without rushing. 
• Rinse thoroughly with warm water. The cooling sensation from the peppermint will linger briefly on the skin after rinsing — this is the menthol at work. 
• Follow with your Crystal Beaute Co. body oil or butter to seal in moisture while skin is still slightly damp. 

A note on peppermint: the cooling effect is genuine and may be more pronounced on sensitive skin. If using on the face, avoid the eye area. For best results: Store your bar on a draining soap dish between uses. A dry bar lasts longer — and a long-lasting bar is a worthy one.
