Sandalwood has been burned in temples, pressed into oils, and worked into the skin across India, West Africa, and the Pacific for thousands of years. Cedarwood lined the storehouses and sacred spaces of ancient Egypt and the Levant. These are not trend ingredients — they are old materials, trusted by old knowledge, and their presence in a bar soap is not incidental. It is earned.
This is a bar built for skin that deserves to be deeply fed. Avocado — blended from the whole fruit and incorporated directly into the formula — brings vitamins A, D, and E, natural plant sterols, and lecithin into the bar in a form that distributes evenly and thoroughly through every wash. Aloe juice, used in place of water, brings its anti-inflammatory and skin-conditioning properties into the bar from the very first step of the process, calming as it cleanses. Shea butter and olive oil bring the lasting moisture that holds long after the rinse.
Kaolin clay draws out surface impurities without disrupting the skin's natural balance — a quiet, considered workhorse that earns its place in every bar it touches. Sunflower oil, light and rich in linoleic acid, keeps the formula balanced for all skin types. Castor oil builds the lather into something slow and generous.
The mica — blue, white, and black — gives Woodland a visual depth that mirrors the scent: layered, elemental, unhurried. Sandalwood, cedarwood, musk, floral, and sweet fruit move through the bar the way light moves through a canopy — arriving in layers, never all at once.

Puree distributes the full nutrient profile of the avocado — vitamins A, D, and E, natural plant sterols, lecithin, and the natural sugars of the fruit — evenly throughout the bar in a way that extracted oil cannot replicate. Used across Central America, the Caribbean, and West Africa in food and skin preparations for centuries, avocado has always been understood as something generous. This bar uses all of it.
Aloe Vera Juice: Used here in place of water, aloe juice brings anti-inflammatory, hydrating, and skin-conditioning properties into the bar from the very first step of the process. Communities across Africa, Asia, and the Americas have relied on aloe to heal and soothe skin for generations. Its inclusion here is not decorative — it is foundational.
Kaolin Clay: The gentlest of clays. Draws out excess oil and impurities without disrupting the skin barrier — making it the right choice for everyday cleansing, even on sensitive skin. Its presence here is quiet and purposeful: clean pores without the cost of a compromised barrier.
Sunflower Oil: Light, non-comedogenic, and exceptionally rich in linoleic acid — a fatty acid that reinforces the skin barrier and is often deficient in dry or stressed skin. Sunflower oil keeps Woodland balanced and accessible for all skin types, providing nourishment without weight and protection without pore-clogging.
Mica (Blue, White & Black): Three carefully chosen micas give Woodland its distinctive layered coloring — the depth of a forest floor, the cool of morning light, the dark of old timber. Micas are naturally occurring mineral pigments, cosmetic-grade and skin-safe. The visual character of this bar is elemental by design. It looks the way it smells: grounded, layered, considered.

How to Use
- Wet skin and bar with warm water.
- Lather between hands or directly on skin — the bar will produce a rich, creamy foam with the depth of the woodland fragrance present throughout.
- Massage gently into face or body. Let the clay and aloe do their work — no rush.
- Rinse thoroughly with warm water.
- Follow with your Crystal Beaute Co. body oil or butter to seal in moisture while skin is still slightly damp.
For best results: Store your bar on a draining soap dish between uses. A dry bar lasts longer — and a long-lasting bar is a worthy one.
